I, Zlatko Kesler, was born in 1960. in Selenca, small place in Vojvodina. I went in primay school in Bac, and finished high scool in Backa Palanka. I have attended the Faculty of economics, but never have finished because of car accident I had. In time I got enjured I have been employed. After the accident, I was retired.
I was active player in table tennis in STK „Pertizan“ in Bac, for ten years. After military service in 1982. I started playing football in FK „Krivanj“ in Selenca. Unfortunately, in 1983. I had an accident, going on the football match. After the accident I became a user of wheelchairs. In 1985. Society of people with paraplegia of Vojvodina and Sports union of disabled people of Vojvodina recruited me to play table tennis in wheelchairs as their representative.
In 1987. I was officialy recruited to table tennis representation in wheelchairs of Yugoslavia and started to play table tennis on international competitions.
Success in my international career has begun 1989. year on European championship for disabled persons where I took silver medal, together with Ilija Djurasinovic. I took part on four Paraolimpic games where I won four medals, three world championships where I took 4 medals, and eight european championships from where I brought 10 medals.
On various World coups, during my 20 years long table tennis career, I have won over hundred medals.
